The Broncos let Barton fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Broncos were there to profit. Lander Barton, the No. 127 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 196th pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Reaching for Williams left real value on the table behind him. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: linebacker settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
