The Broncos won the night they stopped Neal from sliding. Grade: B.

Somebody in slot 190 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Broncos sat still while Devin Neal, the No. 83 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
