A costly weekend of dealing drags the Broncos to a D.

The Broncos lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

Reaching for Gould left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

The Broncos indulged a want in Jackson while a need in linebacker stayed open.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
