The Saints did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Danny Stutsman fell into pick No. 130.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They will answer for taking linebacker early while edge rusher, running back and other spots went begging. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Jackson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

In the end it comes back to Walter Nolen, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
