Jackson should have been long gone. The Saints pounced, and earned a B.

The Saints spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Donovan Jackson, the No. 65 name on the board, in the 112th pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Jones Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
