Best value of the weekend goes to the Saints for Carter: B+.

Somebody in No. 111 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Saints sat still while Barrett Carter, the No. 83 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The cost of the Fairchild reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
