The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Bailey: B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Emani Bailey, the No. 208 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 257th overall pick. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. With interior defensive lineman and offensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Erik McCoy leading the way.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
