The Saints spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Spencer Fano, the No. 15 name on the board, in Round 5, Pick 32.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
