The Seahawks lost the trade table, and the D tells the story. The Keith Randolph Jr. pick is the one that will follow the Seahawks into the fall. They took him 37 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A D that will need time and luck to look better.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Getting Hart where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
The Seahawks clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
