The Steelers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Andru Phillips fell into Round 6, Pick 23. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. With quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them. They will need Limmer to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
