The Cowboys did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Kurtis Rourke fell into pick 204. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Smith has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
