A solid, sensible weekend for the Bears: B+.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 85 spots for Isaac TeSlaa, and value like that does not grow back. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

Thornton Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
