The 49ers did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The 49ers clearly saw something nobody else did in DeMonte Capehart, taking him 22 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. However the rest shakes out, Styles at that price is a win they earned.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.

They reached a country mile for DeMonte Capehart at slot 134, and the board is aghast. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.

They paid sticker price for J.C. Davis in the 139th pick, and that is fine. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
