Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureB-
A masterclass at the trade table lands the Seahawks a B+.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Warren Brinson at the 223rd overall pick is 66 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

They banked enough surplus on Emmanwori to cover a lot of smaller sins. The phones were where this weekend was really won. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Seahawks indulged a want in Mukuba while a need in edge rusher and running back stayed open.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick24 Rnd1 Tyler Warren
The board had Tyler Warren higher than pick 24, and the tight end fell to them anyway. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick50 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
They robbed the room for Nick Emmanwori here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick64 Rnd2 Jaylin Noel
They did well to land Jaylin Noel in Round 2, Pick 32, just ahead of his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick82 Rnd3 Isaiah Bond
A quiet steal in slot 82: Isaiah Bond for less than the market said. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick92 Rnd3 Andrew Mukuba
A curious use of the 92nd pick. Edge rusher and running back needed the pick; a safety in Andrew Mukuba did not.
Pick96 Rnd3 Quinn Ewers
Nothing to complain about; Quinn Ewers went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick137 Rnd4 Cody Simon
Cody Simon at the 137th pick is money in the bank, a linebacker taken below his worth. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick168 Rnd5 Quincy Riley
A reach on Quincy Riley in the 168th overall pick; the board had better options right there. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick172 Rnd5 Jack Nelson
No edge and no loss on Jack Nelson in Round 5, Pick 34; it is a wash and a sensible one. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick175 Rnd5 Jonah Monheim
Good price on Jonah Monheim in No. 175, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick223 Rnd7 Warren Brinson
They reached into another round for Warren Brinson, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. The roster fit checks out.
Pick234 Rnd7 Jackson Hawes
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Jackson Hawes. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
