The trade table was a mismatch, and the Seahawks were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

Jones at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Seahawks paired the rookies with proven help, David Long Jr. leading the way.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
