Draft Grade — Ravens

The Ravens cashed the board's mistake on Muhammad III: B. You build a draft on nights like this. Moose Muhammad III had no business being available in the Round 7 slot, and the Ravens did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Nothing gained and nothing lost at the table.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Jer'Zhan Newton
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get a run-stuffing presence up front at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick64
Rnd2
Kalen King
The board had Kalen King higher than pick 64, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick95
Rnd3
Adisa Isaac
No edge and no loss on Adisa Isaac in the 95th overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. It fills a real need, too.
Pick134
Rnd4
Khyree Jackson
They did well to land Khyree Jackson in the 134th pick, just ahead of his grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick169
Rnd5
Connor Colby
Nice patience on Connor Colby, who had no business lasting to slot 169. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick253
Rnd7
Moose Muhammad III
The board fumbled Moose Muhammad III all the way to No. 253, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
