Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Cowboys came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

Tuten falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Justin Strnad gives the group a proven body among the projects.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
