Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Seahawks spent the Round 7 slot on Jamaree Caldwell, a name the board had a full 52 spots lower. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The Walker pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They will answer for taking cornerback early while edge rusher, quarterback and other spots went begging. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
