The Cowboys went off-script early, and it cost them a F.

The tape said wait; the Cowboys did not. Edefuan Ulofoshio went at No. 87, a good 149 picks before the board was ready. About as rough as the board gets, and a F to prove it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Morgan value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
