The rest of the league will want that one back. Fabien Lovett tumbling to the Chargers in Round 7, Pick 33 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The T.J. Edwards pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
