The Chargers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Julian Pearl, the No. 203 name on the board, in Round 7, Pick 5.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Nourzad left real value on the table behind him.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
