Somebody in pick No. 122 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Broncos sat still while Cam Skattebo, the No. 99 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. Tight end is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
