It is the swing that defines the weekend: Dylan McMahon in No. 202, a good 32 spots before the room expected him. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Hadden at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
