The Saints spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Joshua Farmer, the No. 113 name on the board, in the 131st overall pick. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.
