Call it larceny. Max Melton sat on the board until the 146th pick, and the Broncos did not need to be asked twice. A mixed bag that lands at C.

The cost of the Smith reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

If Rome Odunze and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
