You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Giants did exactly that with Patrick Payton in the 193rd overall pick.

The Golday value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
