A costly weekend of dealing drags the Raiders to a D-.

The Raiders spent real capital to be 77 picks early on Xavier Nwankpa, and the board is going to hold them to it. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Allar at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
