Best value of the weekend goes to the Seahawks for Jackson: B. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Seahawks were there to profit. Ja'Quinden Jackson, the No. 162 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 236th overall pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
They will need Stackhouse to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
