Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall C+
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureB
The Ravens cashed the board's mistake on Walker: C+.

Call it larceny. Devontez Walker sat on the board until Round 6, Pick 36, and the Ravens did not need to be asked twice. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

If Taliese Fuaga and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.

Pick Analysis
Pick29 Rnd1 Taliese Fuaga
In pick No. 29 they get a cornerstone up front. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick50 Rnd2 Kingsley Suamataia
By-the-book stuff, Kingsley Suamataia at pick 50 squarely in line with his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick92 Rnd3 Nazir Stackhouse
Nazir Stackhouse at slot 92 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick129 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
Khyree Jackson slid further than he should have, and the Round 4 slot is lovely value for the cornerback. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick166 Rnd5 Zion Tupuola-Fetui
Zion Tupuola-Fetui in the 166th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick211 Rnd6 Devontez Walker
Devontez Walker at Round 6, Pick 36 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
