There is reaching, and then there is Jayson Jones at Round 6, Pick 19. The Seahawks jumped the board by 108 and dared it to prove them wrong.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Bo Nix is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
