The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chargers watched Steele Chambers slide 54 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
