Winston Jr. should have been long gone. The Chargers pounced, and earned a B.

The Chargers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Kevin Winston Jr., the No. 103 name on the board, in slot 159. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
