Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Andres Borregales got past him. The Chargers do not have to explain a thing at the Round 7 slot. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. It is not that Knight Jr. is a bad player; it is that the Chargers had louder needs to answer first. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
