The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Quincy Riley, the 220th overall pick, roughly 49 picks past where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The trade work was a quiet net positive. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
