Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Smael Mondon Jr. got past him. The Chargers do not have to explain a thing at No. 218. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Wohler lower, and that gap is the story. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
