Draft Grade — Rams
Overall A-
ValueA NeedB TradesA FutureA-
The Rams cashed the board's mistake on Fairchild: A-.

You build a draft on nights like this. Dylan Fairchild had no business being available in the 205th pick, and the Rams did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

They will need Higgins to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Jack Sawyer and all.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Jack Sawyer
In Round 1, Pick 30 they get a bendy edge with upside at a price that makes it sweeter.
Pick57 Rnd2 Tre Harris
A wide receiver of that caliber at the 57th overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick76 Rnd3 Walter Nolen
Steal is underselling it; Walter Nolen at the Round 3 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick94 Rnd3 Colston Loveland
The board fumbled Colston Loveland all the way to the 94th pick, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick100 Rnd3 Jayden Higgins
Value said wait; Jayden Higgins in pick 100 says they were not listening. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick114 Rnd4 Theo Wease Jr.
Theo Wease Jr. in pick No. 114 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick130 Rnd4 Wyatt Milum
Wyatt Milum at slot 130 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick189 Rnd6 Jaxson Dart
Circle this one: Jaxson Dart at No. 189 is a fall that decides a draft. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick198 Rnd6 Deontae Lawson
You do not let a linebacker like Deontae Lawson reach pick No. 198 and blink. They did not. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick205 Rnd6 Dylan Fairchild
Dylan Fairchild in slot 205 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
