Nobody else had Deven Eastern anywhere near pick 215. The Cowboys did, by 60 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Put together, it is a D.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. McNeil-Warren falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
