Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Steelers came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

Rosengarten at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. With quarterback, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They will need Van Pran to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

In the end it comes back to T'Vondre Sweat, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
