Mayes falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The cost of the Van Pran reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

The Foster pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with running back and tight end still on the board. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.
