The Steelers cashed the board's mistake on Jones: B+. The rest of the league will want that one back. Jarrian Jones tumbling to the Steelers in pick 171 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
