It is a puzzling start. The Steelers had quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots to solve and reached instead for Maason Smith, a DT-EDGE, at Round 4, Pick 18.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Mustapha falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Brian Robinson gives the group a proven body among the projects.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
