Larceny in the 198th pick lands the Steelers a B+, Jacobs and all.

Whoever sat across the table from the Steelers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. With quarterback, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them.

On value alone, Jacobs makes the weekend a net positive. The cost of the Van Pran reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
