When a board-topper like Smael Mondon Jr. slides to pick No. 128, you do not overthink it, and the Steelers did not. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The cost of the Anderson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
