Grand theft in the 216th overall pick: the Steelers steal Jacobs and grade out a A-. Somebody in pick 216 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Curtis Jacobs, the No. 179 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.
Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They are betting Robinson proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
