The Steelers let White fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

The board owed the Steelers one, and it paid up: Ricky White, the No. 183 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 244 like a gift left on the doorstep. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

With quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
