There is reaching, and then there is Deshawn Pace at slot 254. The Broncos jumped the board by 179 and dared it to prove them wrong. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The veteran additions, Max Melton chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Getting Trader Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
