The Steelers let Milton III fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Joe Milton III, the No. 164 name on the board, stolen at the Round 6 slot. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
