Hard to follow the map here. The Steelers bypassed quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots to take Matt Goncalves at Round 4, Pick 19, a spot they had covered. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. If Frazier pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

On the needs board they went 4 of 9, with safety the one that mattered most.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
