You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Texans did exactly that with Deion Burks in the Round 3 slot. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Riley pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback and tight end still on the board. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Riley steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
