The Panthers did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Panthers did exactly that with Jah Joyner in the Round 4 slot.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
